Playas de Papagayo

The most beautiful natural beaches on the island slope toward the inviting blue crystal clear sea. The famous and stunning natural beaches of Papagayo can be reached on foot, along the coastal promenade and track. The beaches can also be reached by mountain bike or car along an unmade, very bumpy and dusty road which has a levy of approximately 2 Euros.
There is also the opportunity to take a sea taxi, or catamaran leaving from Playa Blanca harbour for these superb beaches. There are also glass bottom boat trips to this location, which again departs from Playa Blanca harbour, which is just a few minutes walk from Puerto Chico 'A'.
