  1. General standards of safety and hygiene in other countries differ from those in the U.K. and you should, therefore, exercise great care, particular with the choice of food and drink. (b). At the time of publication of these Terms & Conditions, no compulsory vaccinations or other health precautions were required for British Citizens visiting the Canary Islands, specifically Lanzarote.  If you are not a British Citizen or require any advice on recommended health precautions (please remember health regulations are subject to change) you should consult your doctor for up to date advice.  This is particularly important if you are pregnant, elderly or taking children with you. 1. Accommodation – (a) We have attempted to describe in as much detail as possible, the accommodation on offer.  However, it is almost impossible to cover every detail appertaining to the property advertised.  Furthermore, furnishings and equipment may be replaced or updated as required and this will not always be reflected in our website photographs (although we do try to update any changes as soon as possible).  (b). As the owner we are always prepared to discuss at length the different aspects of the property, to ensure you are choosing the most suitable accommodation for your holiday.  For example, should you wish to know more about the location of Puerto Chico ‘A’, its seclusion, or privacy around its pool, or suitability for the disabled please telephone us and we will always be happy to help. (c). The Puerto Chico ‘A’ accommodation is booked exclusively for the persons named on the booking form.  No other persons may use the accommodation without the express permission of the owner.

  1. Satellite TV – (a). A satellite television system is installed in the property. It should be noted that English digital systems currently have access to very few free channels.  Many other channels are available though various pay packages (although even if the full amount was paid, it is still not possible to receive all the channels in Lanzarote that you would in the U.K.).  We have endeavoured to supply these channels via satellite, gaining some film, news, entertainment and sports channels.  (b). Spanish digital systems generally do not have these programs or any English Channels. (c). As some of the channels received in the Canary’s, specifically Lanzarote, are on the very edge of the British satellite signal, bad weather can effect the digital broadcasts, this is only temporary. However Puerto Chico ‘A’ does not guarantee the ability to constantly receive digital signals, and therefore will not compensate clients for loss of this service.

  1. Building Work – Building works and noise are almost unavoidable in certain developing resorts.  Unfortunately such developments are not under our control, nor do we receive advance notice of when they will begin.  However, where we are aware of any works, which may reasonably be considered to adversely affect your enjoyment, we will notify you as soon as possible.  Where possible we will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation.

  1. Personal Articles – (a). All baggage, including personal articles, is at all times and under all circumstances at ‘owners’ risk’.  Although crime is very minimal on the Canary Islands, specifically Lanzarote, clients are always advised to be vigilant about belongings and their own personal security.  (b). No responsibility is accepted for the clients failure to carry passports, visas or other documents required for the purpose of the journey.
